Welcome to the home page for Mark Huberty. I'm a graduate student in the Travers Department of Political Science at UC Berkeley, and a Research Associate at the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy.
My research concentrates on how large-scale technological and economic systems influence the politics of economic change and adaptation. My dissertation studies this problem in the context of climate policy and the challenge of a low-emissions energy systems transformation. I'm particularly interested in the potential for computational social science to bring new methods and microdata to these kinds of questions. You can find more on my research, as well as working papers, at my research page.
